Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and their Hamburg community knew that they would not return to the past. Ashley Hudson was only 17 and hadn't ever had a relationship before, so they took their time. Love was evident at the first sight. On New Year's Eve, just ahead of the year's beginning, Andrew asked God to bless him with one last thing that is the year... in the hope that Ashley would accept and marry him. Ashley had always wanted the wedding with a folk-inspired wooden theme to symbolize Andrew as well as her. For their dream wedding, Andrew and Ashley chose to incorporate elements of everything they adore. Ashley grew in the 40-acre property that was chosen for the wedding venue. Ashley was familiar with the whole area, having walked through it and played in the area. Andrew, Ashley and their companions had already explored the field several times before they began dating. It was important to personalize the wedding since nearly every aspect involved the DIY of the bride and groom. Andrew Ashley's dad, Ashley and Ashley themselves made all the decorations. Ashley also painted and made a variety of decoration ideas. Ashley states that we could never have the amazing wedding I envisioned if it wasn't for Anna's floral designs. The work is simply stunning.
